He’s up to some bullshit now. Distract people with the JFK papers whilst he executes Daddy Pussytin’s bidding.

      Not even. It’s a two-pronged populist treat.

      1. You did the thing and released the docs.

      2. No matter what comes out, it will be boring and droll. And the documents being old means there will be gaps. That allllllllllll pushes the far right conspiracy loons directly into “tha Deep State did um!”

This is how you virtue signal on the right. If there was anything juicy in those files it would have been headlined by the White House already. His idiot followers now pat themselves on the back for this “great win against the swamp”, while never reading a single line themselves from the records and forgetting all about it by tomorrow. Great distraction, but now I’m curios what Trump is trying to distract from.

Tuesday’s release represents a small, outstanding tranche of the more than six million pages of records collected by the National Archives – the majority of which have already been declassified and are available online or in person for review, according to the agency.

So not quite as spectacular as will probably be heralded by Trump’s followers. But maybe there’s some new information in the minority of new pages/documents that could be off interest to JFK conspiracy theorists.

There will be nothing new. Its just another distraction technique to keep people talking about things other than the awful things Trump is doing.

They’re not going to release anything that hasn’t been released already. It’s another method of flooding the zone with garage and distractions from what people need to be paying attention to

Sure but remember the staunchest Republicans may largely be boomers in their 60s and 70s. For many of them, JFK was in their formative years and had immense staying power in their minds and in media for years and years and years afterward. Not unlike 9/11 to 14-year-old me and the ensuing two decades of massive longlasting consequences – whether I like it or not, it was a singular event that defined a generation

If it were somehow revealed he was assassinated by the CIA or secret service or some other government agency, what exactly would that do at this point? Give Trump an excuse to dismantle it and authorize the creation of a new intelligence/enforcement agency with deeper and more covert and loyal power tendrils, like a new SS?

There is info that the Dr. MLK assassination was linked. The weird thing is that it looks like this is all related to what is happening now. Russia, probably working with people inside the US government, wanted JFK and MLK dead to sow division. Though I think the people involved in the US just wanted power/didn’t like the change JFK and MLK represented, and weren’t in on the sow discord part. But intent or not it did have that effect.

Accidental discharge by a hungover secret servicemen is actually a reasonably plausible scenario from what I’ve read, and yes, you’re spot-on.

The current secret service also investigates financial crimes, which is politically unwise under an avowed financial crook president.

Accidental discharge by a hungover secret servicemen

And what possible reason would the hungover Secret Service guy have to be pointing a gun at the motorcade in the first place? In case John Connolly or Jackie suddenly went berserk? That makes zero sense.

It’s a whole thing, I’m not going to outline the full background and theory here or I’d be late for tomorrow’s lunch. If you actually care about this subject you can find that for yourself.

What actually happened then matters to me now only if someone with that intel decides to use it for a specific political aim. That’s the conversation I was interested in having.

Yeah, this is the theory that I’ve held since seeing a documentary investigating the whole incident. And for the life of me I cannot recall the name.

I find it far easier to believe the CIA would scramble to cover up a colossal fuck-up over any shadowy conspiracy of assassination. Incompetence is more reliable than competence, in a way.

😂 Trump is so untrustworthy I can already tell these files contain nothing of substance that wasn’t already known. More BS lip service from our resident traitor-in-chief.
