Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the US military has begun to upgrade its operations in Japan to a new “war-fighting” command, highlighting the Trump administration’s focus on China as its primary security challenge.

So the US is planning wars involving Panama, Canada, Greenland and China while threatening EU and Mexico? It’s all so random and spread out.

Until you consider the fact that he’s taking orders from Russia. When you consider all of his actions under the filter of “would a Russian asset do these things” they all make perfect sense.

Step 1) get an asset in the white house

Step 2) make your asset crash americas economy <- you are here

Step 3) make your asset start ww3 with america as the bad guy.

Step 4) you have won the cold war, take Alaska back while america collapses

I knew someone so stupid they voted and argued Trump was good and he wanted peace and he would do that.

I don’t talk to that guy anymore.

In a normal political environment I’d say this is a normal part of the games China & the US have been playing in Asia for a long time, and actually a good thing, considering how China postures around Taiwan.

But as things stand with the US now, this seems like just one more contradiction, and unclear motivation.
