    I couldn’t make it past the bad-faith introduction that wildly mischaracterized the Grusch events and ignored the videos and reporting that justified the publishing of the NY Times article that kicked off this most recent era. I may or may not listen to the rest later.

    Look, I can’t say with certainty that these things are true, but I can say with certainty that some feel very motivated to mischaracterize events based on what I would call a superficial reading of cherry-picked events, ignoring conspicuous character issues in people like Kirkpatrick, clear evidence of witness intimidation, other firsthand Navy pilot witnesses like David Fravor, and so on.

    This idea that a handful of believers were able to con folks ranging from the Speaker of the House, to the Intelligence Community Inspector General, to the Senate Majority Leader, etc. such that they were willing to attach themselves to this effort publicly, and to do so without evidence and only through sheer deluded confidence or mastermind conspiracy stretches credulity as well.
