Communist anti-homeless architecture is called a ‘gulag’ you fuckwits. If you’re not productive you’re deemed a parasite and sent to a work camp.

Although it’s undeniable that the Soviet Union overcame a very serious housing shortage after WW2 using the Khrushchevkas, this is not a communist regime exclusively. Similar type of housing were build in almost every west european countries, to varying extent and success. I saw a very interesting video about this topic on YouTube, I will try to find it.

Similar type of housing were build in almost every west european countries, to varying extent and success.

Large socialist political parties and movements governed these states for decades, following the collapse of the colonial era dictatorships and regimes that lead them through two world wars.

The defunding, under-maintenance, and demolition of these large tower blocks that picked up speed during the Thatcher Era and the commercialization of housing stock that followed, has given us a perverse period of housing contraction just as populations are falling and housing stock should be rising.

I wish it was true. But if one cannot work, the person becomes a criminal by default

Also not many can survive homelessness in -20C with strong humid wind in the winter
