I can’t read this headline. My brain can’t make sense of it
is it better now?
I was just gonna say that this was better than the last time it was posted until I saw this comment and realized it was the same post!
People on ru-lang resources were divided over what made her relatives leave her. I for one happy she’d get medical attention.
Respect
Fuck russia for making life cheap. Everything else stems from that one central goddamned tenet.
This is the fundamental conservative belief. Life is cheap, make it more abundant and exploit it. They are people farmers, as all conservatives are. Human resources are livestock to be abused and made to have low standards several to a bunk while they have mansions for 1 person.
that makes a lot of sense !
“There’s no greys, only white that’s got grubby. I’m surprised you don’t know that. And sin, young man, is when you treat people as things. Including yourself. That’s what sin is.’
‘It’s a lot more complicated than that -’
‘No. It ain’t. When people say things are a lot more complicated than that, they means they’re getting worried that they won’t like the truth. People as things, that’s where it starts.”

@ticho @cheese_greater “people as things” sounds like an excellent condensation of the “end in itself” vs. “means to other ends” distinction in moral philosophy. I really should read more Terry Pratchett …
Under the veneer of fantasy parody, Pratchett was able to sneak in surprisingly strong ethics and morality lessons in a very likeable manner. It’s one of many reasons I love the Discworld books - they make me want to be better.
I suspect that the characters Esmerelda Weatherwax and Sam Vimes were in fact Pratchett’s vehicles to convey his own moral values.
I love a good Terry Pratchett quote.
“We’re not Russians”
lol
I bet this will be shared a lot on telegram.
