I wish a new trend where they don’t find an old song to dictate the rhythm of every cut and sound from the movie would take over trailers. Why is there just no original thought hen it comes to these things? I’m so tired of every single trailer being portrayed in the same goddamn way. I actually liked the style at first. It was interesting and new. But now it’s so goddamn beaten to death that it’s annoying.

All that said, this looks like it’s going to be…bad. Not purposefully bad, silly “killer unicorn on the loose” bad. I mean it looks like it’s going for something that it just won’t succeed in doing. I like all these actors (the ones I recognized, anyway). I like them all a lot. But this feels like it’s sort of recycled silliness. Like they were going for something they thought was really interesting and funny but with the plausible deniability to say, “are you serious? It’s a movie about a killer unicorn” to ward off any criticism.

I’m basing this all on the 2min trailer, so take it with a grain of salt. And I hope I’m wrong. But something about it just feels meh.

I am pretty sure, that will not be the best movie ever made, but it looks like just the amount of whacky fun, I am really looking forward to.
