Any of the South American ones. Brazil, Colombia or the special blend. Essentially any of the 1 kg bean bags are good value for money, not the dark roasts though.
Yep I recommend the South American 1kg beans. They have a “luxe” special version in a purple bag right now which is good but not as nice as the Brazil that I usually choose. The roasting date is printed backwards on the side of the packet under the used by date.
The only ones I’ve tried are the Lazzio Medium beans in the white bag and they are excellent. I can’t speak to the fancier looking ones. I should do a trip and pick up a fresh bag actually. I also prefer my coffee a bit stronger and the medium hits just right for me.
I’m going to Aldi. What coffee beans should I get for my plunger?
If it helps I like strong cappuccinos and I use the #13 calabrese pods for my Aldi pod machine because the #14 intensio is disgusting.
I ended up with this because there was not much choice.
Solid choice. It’s what I get if the international stuff isn’t available.
That’s good. Serves me right for going on a Monday when stock has not been replenished. I am happy though.
That’s my standard.

Got it.

Good to know. I shall experiment. Thank you.
I guess it depends on what you like, I do like smooth and fruity blends but sometimes a dark one isn’t too bad either.
