Seagull doing worm charming

A sea gull taps the ground with their feet to try to bring some worms to the surface.

Clever gull does some worm charming to get a snack. The official name for this is the “Seagull Dance” apparently.

Never mind the crow bros, here’s the gullfriends.

Herring gulls live for 12 years, mate for life, and are intelligent social birds. This is a place to appreciate positive interactions with the little skwarkers. They are on the red endangered list in the UK and a protected species, so let’s all be nice to them.
