Less than thrilled to see that liberals are ready to get behind rabid genocidal racists as long as they are anti-Russia.

I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that may have not looked up what that flag represent, but still, they should really look up the peoples and organizations that the medias present as something/someone they should support.

I’m just saying, it’s the individuals. I’d be worried if most people in that gathering were displaying controversial stuff. They’re not tho.

Should one individual be able to discredit the whole group?

If yes, all the opposing party would need to do to defeat the gathering is send one man carrying a flag with horrible implications to the gathering.

From that hypothetical example, it’s obvious (for me) that an individual shout not be able to discredit the whole group.

In that case it kind of do discredit them. These are the same peoples who are convinced that any accusation of neo NAZIs having any power in Ukraine is nothing more than “Russian propaganda”, yet here they are, having the flag of the most important and deadly group of Ukrainian NAZI collaborators flown right in their faces and they think nothing of it, is it because they don’t know or because they don’t care I don’t know, but seeing that should absolutely somewhat lower your trust in what these peoples have to say about neo NAZIs in Ukraine.

If the protestors forbade the use of these symbols in their protests and turned away suspect peoples that would be different, but they aren’t, they are letting the flag of a NAZI collaborator death squad who participated in the Holocaust being flown.

Like, even if you don’t believe that the Ukrainian government is controlled by fascist you should be very critical of this because if you were right that it’s just Russian propaganda then the last thing you should want is fueling Russia’s narrative by passively letting fellow pro-Ukraine peoples display neo-NAZI symbology. Pro-Ukraine peoples, if they truly believe their narrative, should learn to spot neo-NAZI simbols used in Ukraine and be as critical of their use in pro-Ukraine movements as we are.

    • if there is one Fascist in a group, and they are able to display obvious Fascist symbols in the group, and no one in the group stops them, If you willingly march with a fascist, and know they are a fascist, then yes I will discredit you. The group has sent a clear message that they are fine with that.

I wouldn’t be able to recognize that flag. As i said before, i need to be convinced that they did recognize it, noticed it and approved it.

If you’re gonna support something you should at least learn about what you are supporting, them not knowing what it is is a pathetic excuse to let that fly.

Imagine rocking up to a Palestine march with an Israeli flag and spectators trying to write it off in the same way.

Do you support Ukraine? There are really only two pro-Ukraine symbols. The national flag and the Bandera Nazi flag. Occasionally the trident.

Dipshits with nazi/gross flags get kicked out left marches all the time. Yeah of course some can slip by. Maybe these 3 people were kicked out after the photo got taken. But the crowd isn’t that big, this looks tolerated to me.

There’s several people within a ~5 meter radius (as I showed in my reply above, they are barely cut off from the image in the post) and the UUF shown first in the banner is a banderite organizaton.

If someone with a Nazi flag gets sent to your rally you kick them out. They are either ignorant or don’t mind. Both are bad.
