I have nasal pads and they… fucking work so far?

I feel a difference in the way I breathe through my nose.

I’m going to use this with my CPAP machine.

(Also, if anyone has a CPAP machine, let me know, because I need to get that damn thing to work; I can’t sleep with it so far.)

It seems the EU is actually butthurt by the US-Russia negotiations and they are now willing to send troops to Ukraine, which is just waiting for incidents to happen.

Am feeling better. Am glad I have a good immune system because my family apparently is still struggling. Have an extra day to recoup because of the genocidaire holiday, so one thing at least.

Bananas, veggie soup and elderberry is champ. Shoutout to those powdered IV packets. Already forgot the brand-name. That fucking sucked; I have no idea where that came from but I have a sneaking suspicion it was being around a group of people even while I was wearing a scarf/mask. Genuinely was horrible, never had a chill/heat cycle happen what felt like every minute before. I had COVID before and this felt worse, all though I don’t think it was COVID because I didn’t get nearly as bad “brain fog”. Who knows, been able to stay inside thankfully.

I rewatched CCK Philosophy’s “Violent End of the German Revolution” and the Urban Guerillas one. So many bad-ass people lost almost entirely to the annals of history. It makes me sad, but hopeful in a way if that makes sense.

It’s an USian site. This is normal for them. Back when I was on Twitter, I saw a lot of astroturfed anti-Iran/pro-shah trending hashtags. Of course those account posting were mostly bots, because they were all posting the exact same thing

The downside of working for an org that is trying to help as many people as possible is that I see a lot of people and I am once again sick. I used to never get sick but ever since I see a 1000 people a week my body decided to say fuck that.

At risk of sounding like a lib, I really do feel we are missing some kinda strong and intellectual leader type that goes against the status quo. Unfortunately the only leaders willing to go against the status quo are people like Trump and Milei, who I dont really consider strong. Even the status quo they go against is in more of a backwards cultural way rather than economic, because economically the status quo is already trending towards neoliberalism. This could also just be me being western biased, there are things going on in the Sahel states that I’m not too informed on.

Putin maybe? But he seems to be another capitalist at the end of the day. China is off doing their own thing. The whole Gaza genocide and Syria collapse just made Iran look really weak to me, but idk Im just an amateur looking at the situation from afar. Guess the west is literally just going to collapse through its own contradictions with no one there to pick up the pieces yea

I feel like we need to prize the proletariat and the common person more often than “another Lenin.”

A lot of burgers are locked entirely into mainstream media; or the revolving NGOs masquerading as news agencies revolving around it. With a good chunk of the population entirely subsumed into the narratives presented on prime-time, I think it’s really, really hard for anyone “counter-cultural” to either not be coopted or casted out entirely when they don’t follow orders.

      I mean, look at Greta.

I thought that Greta was moving in the right direction, lately? I get that she is probably still a neoliberal, but I remember thinking she is becoming more radical. The good kind of radical.

You’re right about Greta’s leanings toward more radicalism. The previous poster’s point is that people like Greta are touted by media when they’re not radical, but get dropped once they do.

Thus you won’t find these excellent leaders by watching mainstream capitalist media.

Having listened to Eugene Puryear of the PSL speak, his ability to connect cross-cultural historical knowledge with today’s struggles make him a great one to follow: https://www.instagram.com/pslbayarea/reel/DGPasWHRf_h/

Mélenchon in France and his party is doing a lot of work considering the insanely reactionary politics currently ongoing in his country.

Putin does not only seem to be a capitalist. He’s 100% a capitalist, he just happens to be from a country the US hates. More than a capitalist, putin is a reactionary asshole doing exactly the same kind of shit far right politicians in the rest of the world are trying to do, plunder all they can while blaming minorities for it.

Furthermore, I would argue Milei and Trump are not really going against the status quo, they just removed the veneer of “civility” liberals love to tout while doing the same shit.

Getting into it with someone IRL and having them straight up say that “Of course America will be able to actually catch up and compete if we get some of the loose baggage off of us!”

(This loose baggage is things like D.E.I, trans etc)

Despite the unpleasantry, I was able to get them to at least admit that cutting government programs isn’t gonna make us somehow compete with China. Nor spending billions on programs that only cost China hundreds of millions. Decent progress, despite the bad-taste in my mouth.

The thing that makes me genuinely shocked though is that there are a lot of burgers who think that by just being as racist, homophobic piece of shit settlers even harder that somehow that will absolve their country of struggle and decay. Somehow that will solve all the issues…it’s the “third column” holding our country back…apparently. I suppose all the propaganda of “China bad” in terms of convincing burgers of their wunderwaffe compared to “inferior chinese products” really did take a toll.

I think it’s a result of declining material conditions and concessions being given to oppressed minorities coinciding at the same time. The two are separate things, but timing wise they coincide so it’s really easy to falsely link them as cause and effect.

I feel like this is the key to neo-liberalism/crypto-fascism today. Without this move class consciousness would be way more advanced in western nations.

Yup. It also confirms and validates notions about tradition to them; “truly things were better back then with no woke!”.
