Wil Wheaton reading the audiobook version of Cory Doctorow’s Homeland in which Wil Wheaton appears as a character was a nice touch, I thought.
That made me look up the audiobook of Ready Player One to find out if Matthew Broderick read it since the main character roleplays as his character in Wargames. But no, Matthew Broderick did not read it. It was read by… Wil Wheaton!
It’s Wil all the Wheadown.
Dis the beard. Not the man.
He reads like a coked-up YouTuber talking about conspiracy theories 😊
No, he does not. Do you really think that or are you just really pleased with yourself for coming up with minimally creative ways to shit on Wil Wheaton? Seems like the latter.
Aaaww did someone have diffewent opinions to you awww sweety
You seem fun.
What books specifically?
Last one I tried was Starter Villain, I managed to get to the end of that because the story was so silly
But there’ve been others that I had to switch off simply because Wheaton narrates like you asked an AI to make the voice of the average Redditor
I don’t understand why and how he’s relevant. Even if we’re purely talking star Trek he’s fucking annoying
I really loved Wil Wheaton in Eureka, which is why I have to constantly remind myself when I see him in interviews and things that he’s not actually a colossal asshole (as far as I can tell).
