I went for a walk this morning. The air smelled like wet leaves and the sky was that weird gray-blue that feels kinda peaceful.
While I was walking, I met and talked to older woman and her scruffy little dog. We ended up walking a bit together, just chatting about how dry everything’s been lately and how the early morning drizzle was good for things.
When the first drops started falling, we both laughed and said it was about time to turn around and go back home.
It was one of those small, random quiet moments that sticks with you. Great start to the day. :)
Ive had days like that. I would even go as far as saying ive noticed how our state of mind matters much more than we think in how we are met by others.
There is also research that shows that our thoughts and therefore our emotions affect our physical body.
About 10 years ago i had a very, very positive state of mind for different reasons, and it led to me meeting my current girlfriend. We have stayed together and live together and all is pretty good still.
So yeah, our minds are powerful. They are our entire perception of the world. :)
Great post and sentiment!
