Most of us here are leftists of some shade, we roughly agree on theory. The tankie problem is one of implementation. It’s delusional either in its estimation of the percentage of people willing and able to join the movement, or in its faith that the vanguard state totally won’t turn into a dictatorship this time. I think most people here could be convinced to join the movement they’re pushing if the movement was supported by a practical plan of implementation. Right now it’s supported either by dreams and wishes, or 90+% of the population being shipped to the gulags
