Skred is the first secured messaging app allowing total freedom: you don’t need any email address or phone number to use it. Skred is open. No subscription is necessary, there’s no operator, no SIM card and no tracking.

So i was on reddit and noticed skred was mentioned. I never heard of it and gave it a try.Its French. It has some nice features. Does not use a phonenumber.

    Matrix, XMPP, SimpleX, Molly (signal fork without closed source blobs) lots of good opensource options out there.
