    Renault has very little to zero presence in the US, so the tarrifs don’t affect them as much…

        No, Chrysler and Dodge are Stellantis. Which is Peugeot, Citroen, Fiat, Opel and others.

          Got you, so do we avoid buying Stellantis cars because am element of the ownership is American? Or because they’re based on NL they get a pass?

            I’d be inclined to see them as a European company which trades in America, rather than a company with American ownership. The reality is that if you buy a Stellantis European marque in Europe, it’s almost certainly made in European factories, designed by European engineers, and the company’s corporate HQ functions are also in Europe. If you buy a Ram truck from them, though, it’s probably originated from their US operations.

              Thanks, it’s helpful to help alignment said course each of us then have more localised interests but to be aligned on the primary goal helps enforce

        Foreign stuff confuses and frightens the meek American, especially words. When faced with the Renault Scénic the American will respond by retreating into its den, and to seek the comfort of its barbecue grill and cans of beer.
