Another rental application in. Unfortunately the inspection is today & I can’t go because of a dental appointment. But it looks perfect for me in the photos, hopefully I can be considered and get a different inspection time. The place does have too many yuccas. I’m not sure if the excessive green of the lawn is photoshop or if the previous owner did some serious watering before selling to make it look nice but I’ll be surprised if it is not dead and yellow in real life. But the house layout is great, there is a sliding door I can put a dog door insert in and an area that looks like it would be perfect to put some vegies in without much effort. So fingers crossed again on tihs one.
The other one I put an application in looks like it might be ok, but there are a lot of maybes that you can’t see in the (out of date) pictures that could make it unsuitable too, so I’m not bothering with the crossed fingers for that one.
Edit to add: this is what happens when you plant one little yucca
Yeah, the trunks on those are massive and look like they are damaging the fence. Who knows what the roots are getting into. In another 10-15 years the small one that’s been put in against the house will be causing some serious damage too.

one little yucca, what could be the harm in that?
15 years later
15 years is about what I’m dealing with. Stick to potted ones.
