Greta started off as a kid worried about climate change, after meeting like every western world leader, going to UN speeches, being portrayed and groomed by western institutions with the almost explicit goal of making her the ‘acceptable’ lib face of climate protests. I can’t imagine how much material wealth she must’ve been offered for standing in line and doing what was demanded of her.
Instead, she’s actually stuck to her principles - she’s calling out every last fucker who maliciously contributes to this, and protesting with actual direct action and so getting arrested. She turned tankie and realised capitalism and imperialism are the major enemies, her time with the soulless ghoulish world leaders radicalised her further, but also gave her the knowledge of the very people who are the problem.
