Note how anon states they weigh the same, but they feel healthier. Being healthy isn’t about looking like a model, being healthy is about literally being healthy. You don’t need to do crazy ass workouts, chug protein mixes, and gain muscle like a TV star on steroids. You just need to get enough cardio in your day (or throughout the week) from chill/fun activities (biking, swimming, dancing) and have a balanced diet to do your body right. Don’t fucking starve yourself please, you look fine the way your are ♥️

Edit: Thought anon was at 220 and didn’t lose weight, sorry y’all damn. Also there are fat people who are fat not because of moral failing and eating McDonald’s all day, but because of serious health issues that are extremely hard to combat with dieting and exercise. RIP wanted to be positive.

Being grossly overweight is deletorious to your health. Cardio or exercise will not change this, because weight loss is mostly driven by diet.

Its both. Calorie in. Calorie out. Any calories not used will be stored for later. Keep consuming more than used, than more and more gets stored. The problem with modern diets is food is very enegry dense and a lot of people dont live active lives. Our bodies have not adapted to such lifestyles. Its adapted to survive until the next hunt not the next doordash delivery.

Our bodies are not bomb calorimeters. Calorie intake and expenditure are not independent variables. The human body is more than a simple linear equation. Please, stop propagating these myths.

I mean, sure. Not every single calorie you consumed gets absorbed and expelled. Fiber has tons of calories, but our bodies cant digest it so its simply expelled. Its very naunce argument. Thats why i selectively said “enegry dense food” sugars and fats are easily broken down and absorbed. I was not intending you to interpret it as meaning if you eat a gram of uranium, that your body would suddenly gain 18 million calories.

Even though you misread the comment as a fat fuck, I have to reply to you and say, fuck spreading whatever idea you are spreading.

Your comment reads like a delusional HAES cult members.

Being obese is objectively worse for your quality of life and your longevity, just because someone wants to better themselves doesn’t mean they do it to look like a model.

Your comment is objectively wrong, putting on muscle is by far the best way to increase your health and longevity, not doing cardio.
