I live in the E.U. so the “schengen agreement” allows me to move anywhere and work anywhere within that space. Italians are still welcome even though they elected a fascist, so if i move fast enough to portugal (or whatever country looks least fascist at that time) won’t have a chance but to take me in.
I’m just curious, what do you think that would look like?
I hear folks say they’ll move and it makes me wonder what country would want citizens that allowed fascists to take control of their previous country?

Ordinary citizens are going to have a hard time jumping ship, but star researchers will be able to.
its a problem for bs/MS stem degree holders, since they arnt scientist and arnt valuable as the phd counterparts.
