    This is false, you cannot copyright a typeface. The only part of a font that is covered under copyright is the “software” i.e. the font file itself. Using a typeface in a video (or anywhere that’s not redistributing the file) is completely within your (or anyone’s) rights.

      They didn’t say they violated copyright, and they specifically call it out that it was a clone, not anything illegal. It’s just ironic to do so for this specific case.

      What is “false”? The article doesn’t mention the word “copyright” at all.
