I’m a parent and I massively struggle with this. I am trying to be completely open and honest in age appropriate way but it’s really hard to do that without it becoming a conversation about how we are all deeply, deeply in for a bad time.
Same with everything. You can’t deny reality, it exists regardless of your feelings
