Per the report, “One mother who was about to be deported was allowed less than two minutes on the phone with her husband to figure out what would become of her 2-year-old U.S. citizen son,” while one of the other mothers “wasn’t allowed to speak with attorneys or family members before she was deported, accompanied by her U.S.-born children,” despite ICE agents knowing the child had stage 4 cancer.
according to the lawyers, their families weren’t given a choice, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers stalled their efforts to make arrangements for the children, ensuring they would be sent away with their mothers.
So… Can you refute the accounts of this happening, or are you just slurping down orange dick and gargling out an excuse for it later?
It’ll be specific to the app you’re using. Tags aren’t natively supported by Lemmy, so they’re just something that the app makers add in. Sort of like RES on Reddit.

No, they cannot. Look at their post history. I love tags on Lemmy!
As do I!
Does that work in the web app? (I’m on feddit.org if that matters)
They’re on -70 now btw. But people like that thrive on downvotes, or at least they think they do.

Yep, that makes sense. Thanks.
It works on Voyager (the one I’m using), Summit, and Thunder as well as one or two others afair
That’s weird. I’m on Voyager, and I don’t see that.
Settings > Users Tags > Enable
There’s no such thing in the web ui. Ah well 🤷
Thanks!
In settings, it’s the fourth from the bottom, pink icon that says “user tags”.
The feature was in beta and difficult to find a few updates ago, so it’s not just you being unobservant unless you checked recently 😁
Thanks!
You’re very welcome 🙂
