i have IOS so i cant test it myself but one of my friends who im trying to get to use deltachat does and i’d like to know the differences so i know which one to suggest to him so that he doesnt have to pick on his own.

Basically any of them will be fine, they are both Delta Chat clients so you can chat from the iOS client with them and also account/profiles can be imported/exported from one client to the others

From what I understand, this is a fork of the other by one of the devs on DeltaChat who gets to make it the way he wants instead of going through the group process of DeltaChat.
