I think we have a little too much religion already.

Fuck your feelings. Science. Facts. Pay me. Human rights. Healthcare.

I wonder how they think this is going to help religion’s image in this country. It was already trending downwards fast. This seems likely to ensure no one likes them.

I’m sure all those non-religious republicans are super stoked about this. But hey, literally everyone warned them and they didn’t wanna listen.

They exist in significant numbers. Think incels, weebs, tech-bro wannabes, stoner rednecks, suburbanites with money and kinks… there’s quite a lot of types for whom MAGA is anti-establishment.

They are more numerous than you realise. I’d say about half the people that I grew up with when I lived in a red county were non-religious republicans. And you’d think that wouldn’t make any sense until you realise that actual republican voters that care about actual republican values don’t really give two shits about all that religious stuff. It’s just that the extremists are louder and, unsurprisingly, more preachy.

The Christpublicans are an essential component of the right wing coalition. They are vital because they are reliable voters who can be bought off with immateal things.

Well they don’t believe in God, but their mostly in favor of a few things trump said he was gunna do, like making the govt more efficient and the making of a Bitcoin reserve. They aren’t too happy with all the stuff he’s doing now though, like the tariffs and firings of federal workers

No fuck that, Islamic prayer 3 times a day… I’m not religious but they would be really mad. Or ok let’s go full Christian and arrest anyone with mixed fiber clothing

I am fully aware most people don’t anything to do with the Catholic Church. Sadly, Catholics don’t know that they aren’t invited to the great white after-party.

If we can get Catholics off the Trump train, then there will be more opposition to these politics. It starts with having Trump’s followers push away Catholics and telling them that they aren’t Christian enough for America.

I prefer inclusion, but we need to let our enemies talk themselves into a corner here.
