So I’m in a kind of position where I teach young adults about events of militantism, and I’ve not developed yet a bug network of ground news from outside the “International community” and their medias.
So I was wondering if you have any pointers, I sure don’t want you to do the work for me, but I just want to show that this day is important in a lot of places.
Thanks comrades !
Are you specifically looking for reports from non-Western media, or just reports of demonstrations around the world? I have some info on the latter but not sure I can find articles from non-Western publications
Both I guess ? And thanks for replying
Gotcha. Here are some things I dug up
Workers Observe May Day with Marches and Demos Under Trumps Tarriff Shadow
May 1 Rallies Draw More Than 300,000 Across France
Turkish Police Scuffle with May Day Protestors in Istanbul, Detain Hundreds
Labor Groups Call for P200 Wage Hike, end to ‘end’ in Labor Day Protest
Thanks a lot Ratboy! I’ll dive into the articles and I feel kinda ashamed to not have looked at Al-Jazeera.
Happy I could help. I started to just bookmark news pages, most of which I find posted on Hexbear, so that I wouldn’t forget them but I still forget to use them. Its so difficult to find anything that’s not from CNN or New York Times or MSNBC in this damn country. Ill search through pages and pages of search results in duckduckgo or Brave and it’s still a lot of the same slop, so don’t feel ashamed!
