You are actually very right. Calling them Republicans is not appropriate or correct, as the Republican movement was founded on a very different set of values and one only has to look at their history to compare the “then” with the “now”.

These are indeed MAGA Nazi’s in the true sense of the name. Just like the original Nazi’s adopted a symbol of peace, the Swastika, and corrupted its meaning, these lowlifes co-opted the republican name and gave it new meaning.

They should absolutely be called what they act as, not what they say they are.

I call them the MAGA Nazis, because I want MAGA and Nazi tied together for all history. Historically, it’s important to differentiate between the German brand of Nazis and the American brand, just for accuracy.

Also, yes, the Republican party is dead, replaced by the MAGA Nazi party.

Absolutely make sure to point out the Nazi style abuse and corruption and hatred for regular working folks. But we MUST call them Republicans and the GOP and be sure things all become synonymous.

The GOP needs its comeuppance and a long, long walk in the wilderness. We can’t allow them to escape the consequences of the world they’ve created by letting them pin all this on MAGA or Nazis or whatever when everyone finally realizes what a mistake Trump is.

Not forgetting the non-voters who only vent their frustration on social media. Or with their ridiculous useless peaceful protests. Just watching democracy being dismantled and only blaming the other side… by doing nothing you are 100% responsible. Finally start riots while it’s still possible.

You call MAGA stupid… yet you seem to know the German history and still only peaceful protests come at most… The technique of suppression is so much more advanced… Drones etc are a dream… but just keep watching… Germany only made it out with the help of 2 world powers. Nobody can help you later!

We need a new name for them besides Nazis. People start calling them Nazis and then you got to put up with bad faith arguments with people claiming they aren’t as bad as Nazis while completely missing the point.

Can’t demean them either by calling them ass hats or bastards…… How about confederates? All of em ain’t nothing but confederates, going against Found Father values.

How about that? You defend the confederates and people begin thinking your nothing but backwater country folk who still believe in slavery

Nazis are a subset of fascists, which itself is a subset of reactionary ideology.

A reactionary is a person who wants to reverse political changes and seeks to restore society to a state believed to have existed before.

They’re not Nazis, but they ARE fascists.

Nazis were big into public works and pretending to be socialist, both of which are anathema to the American Fascist Party.

All Nazis are fascists, but not all fascists are Nazis.

I would argue a more accurate description for the US far right would be proto-fascists. Primarily because they haven’t fully rejected open elections and they are still somewhat constrained by US judicial institutions.

Although I expect this will change in the next 24 months.
