I live in blue Oregon and it was on the ballot in November, but both parties came out against it with nonsense about how popular candidates will lose, your votes will be stolen, etc, etc and it was resoundly defeated. All their rhetoric about helping the working class are blatant lies they tell you to get elected which is why we’ve been on a steady downward trend as a country for decades regardless of which of these “two” sides hold office.
