Especially after watching Andor. They had so much time to build up and show things in that format. Watching the movie and seeing a whole subplot that would have been at least half an episode of Andor resolve in like a single scene and end with a fade wipe is jarring.
To be fair it was basically the test bed for Andor. The movie still very much follows the OG Star Wars beats and vibes which makes the fact that literally everyone dies feel kinda weird. There’s a tone breakdown that occurs in the movie that definitely doesn’t exist in the show.
