When I switched from Gmail, I looked at Tutamail and Fastmail as options. I REALLY liked Tutamail, but I had a couple of deal breakers.
First, I wanted to be able to have email aliases for people on my domains that do not have mailboxes on my domain. So, if “fred@” has a Gmail account, I wanted to be able to set up an alias for “fred@” to point to “[email protected]”.
Secondly, I wanted to be able to create aliases that go to multiple people both on and off Tutamail. So, if I create a “lemmyusers@” alias, I want to be able to have that go to both “me@” and “mywife@” and possibly also “[email protected]”.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish that with Tutamail directly or to involve a private/secret 3rd party service/app in front of Tutamail to handle the aliases?
Thank you!
https://mxroute.com/ is a paid service that gives full control of all your email aliases for a domain you own.
A hosting company hosting a website you own the domain for should also offer management of aliases and often provides mailboxes, too.
Both options allow multiple destinations for aliases.
I’m looking for am EU company that offers a similar service
EU web hosts should be able to do it. Not sure where MXRoute is from.
Thanks. MXRoute is in Texas.
