We are the ones that lack awareness. The reason they are growing in numbers and electing idiots like Trump is that we are not connecting or engaging regular people. I have watched people in places like r/fuckcars advocate for deflating random people’s tires while on their way to work. They act like that’s the way to win these things. Meanwhile Trump supporters are on a lake getting drunk and blasting Creed and launching fireworks. Like there is a very serious lack of self awareness on the left. Most aren’t even aware that there is a very serious decline. They’re all just waiting for someone else to fix it all.

Seriously it’s crazy how privileged first world idiots are to think having a car isn’t a luxury. The cheapest car in america costs more than a yearly worldwide median salary.
