In the case of Brussels, it’s just extremely bad; it could mean “Belgium”, “NATO” or “EU”.
I don’t think you get it. Calling the EU "Brussels“ is something right wing media loves to do and it’s not a simple whatever that word is you just mentioned, it’s being used as part of a disintegration campaign against the EU.
There are many things wrong with the EU but that’s another discussion, I won’t ever stop comparing about fascist rhetoric being spread.
I think I know what you’re trying to say, i.e. it supports the narratives like “faraway bureaucrats are interfering with my life?” but I still think you’re going too far there with your accusation.
