    So, the Rule of Law is too extreme? When did politics become so jaded?

    EU was considering “different tracks of sanctions” against Israel, including against “extremist settlers”, but sanctions have been “blocked by one member state” until now, alluding to Hungary.

    Yet another issue the EU is far too slow in reacting to.

      If anything, this would point to Hungary being kept loose to soak up the blame for unpopular policies the Commission agrees with.

    Keeping Hungary in the EU at this point is almost as bad as having Belarus.

    Or maybe equally so.
