Funny, as anyone who has ever been part of academia will agree with the man here.

The big publishing groups are a ripoff middleman, contributing next to nothing to the process (both author and reader have to pay, review is by other unpaid scientists, …). A large boycott, and move to an alternative would be beneficial.

So same conclusion, for different reasons.
