Yes. On purpose. Shooting in JPEG with a baked in film simulation on a fixed lens and one filter. Makes the flow much better and more natural. No overthinking needed. If it matters we have a full Sony A7III setup as well and know how to use it but we prefer this camera for these fun photos.
To be honest the x100 series really tapped into a specific niche (at least for us) but the hype around the latest models are bs. It’s a camera not some magical device that can make artist from anyone, but somehow it got this label, just like how everyone is a street photographer now. I wish people would learn to see and think, not just hoarding random and “empty” pictures with their momentarily trending device.
Anyway, spiralled a bit far from boobs 🤣
And yeah the diffusion filter is providing half the mood for sure 😅
nice camera setup actually legit
It’s a point and shoot with a lens filter.

I totally get it. Shots look great and I’m also an X100 owner that almost always has a diffusion filter on the front.
I just don’t think the setup itself is worthy of praise! Wasn’t a knock on your skills or execution.

Thank you. It’s easier to focus on the actual creation without worrying over the technical aspects and lenses, etc ☺️
