Thus showing that, if Democrats were in office, this exact same situation would have happened… except Republicans would probably come out against the war to attack Democrats.

    I hate this fucking country.

    • To this point, only 37 members of Congress have endorsed any of the pending resolutions designed to keep the US out of a war with Iran.
    • Instead, the Democrats have allowed the resistance to be led by the likes of Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Alex Jones, Matt Gaetz, Rand Paul, Steve Bannon, and Thomas Massie.

Probably because the Democrats want it done but also want to blame the “fallout” on the Republicans for the next hundred years.

Well, yeah. Saying anything contrary to Israel’s declared narrative, would cost them all that AIPAC money…and AIPAC would most likely fund a primary challenger to run against them.

Just look at what happened to Jamaal Bowman and Cori Bush.

Which is exactly why they should all be coming out against it. Take genocide money out of politics. Just like trump, with all republicans, the pressure to follow the singular narrative disappears when they all work together. It’s the point of having a party. Work together for the party good, not whomever lords over the party.
