I tried to look through a few threads to see what people were saying, and there were more than a few mod removed comments, and even more users whose comments were still present but the users were tagged as “Banned from the community”. I am new to lemmy, but this seems pretty bad.
Like, how can you call it a community if all you do is shut down conversation? Seems antithetical to the values conservatives profess to have. I’m really beginning to question my beliefs as a conservative. Is this what we actually are? This is pathetic.
Stop engaging in cancel culture. Shut down peoples opinions with facts, stop abusing your power because you got your feelings hurt.
I get the feeling that this wont post or will be censored because the mods are anti freedom socialists, so just in case they do I’ve copied and screenshotted it, and I’ll be posting it in every way I can on as many accounts as I can until the mods address their behaviour.
Get a grip, be a real conservative forum, stop being such fainting nancies. Have some self respect.

In my experience many people who talk about politics on Lemmy have very extreme and inconsistent views, I won’t be surprised if the mods of this community also do.
Since you’re new to Lemmy, you will either get used to it or go to another platform.
Since you’re conservative, be prepared for some petty arguments, since (probably) most of Lemmy users are leftists.
I like Lemmy anyway, but it usually sucks for political discussions IMO.
BTW I’m not conservative, I made this comment because I believe a larger diversity of opinions is beneficial to Lemmy.
Conservative is one thing, this community is something else entirely. It’s not a community, it’s an oxygen tent tailor made for 5 people to smell each others farts. It’s an active embarrassment to everyone, regardless of political affiliation. I’ve seen more coherent political opinions from people huffing paint in a walmart parking lot.

This post is 9 minutes old as I write this. I’m expecting the censorship anytime now. They would never let this kind of transgression last 10 hours. Because the mods are not conservatives, they are children who can only defend themselves through censorship.
I assume it’s to stop brigading from all the leftists on Lemmy. I’ve seen posts and comments get mass downvoted just for expressing conservative ideas, and that’s ridiculous on a community that’s supposed to be for conservatives.

Since you feel so strongly about it, apply to be a mod and help stop the brigading and trolling. You, too, can prevent “fainting nancies”. The more mods the better, since, yes, there are many fires to put out, as well as discussion to encourage. Or, alternatively, start your own conservative sublemmy. I’ve enjoyed the content that neuromancer has been posting.

Most of the removed comments and bans are from users evading bans, and getting their new accounts banned. It seems like a lot, but its the same few users over and over. No, I dont get why they do it either.
