Sublette County Sheriff K.C. Lehr has received more than 7,000 emails about a Wyoming man who reportedly captured and tormented a wolf before killing it, he told Cowboy State Daily on Wednesday.

Some of those are threats.

Lehr said people in his office, as well as Sublette County and Wyoming Game and Fish Department personnel, have been receiving threats — including death threats — stemming from Daniel, Wyoming, man Cody Roberts’ reported capture, torment and killing of a wild wolf in late February.

Not this specific cruelty, no. Sherriff was 100% in the wrong from the moment he was driving his snowmobile drunk.

But I can forgive a seal clubbing if the seal is 500 lbs and attacking a puppy. Context matters, nothing is black and white.

There very much are things that are black and white, I think the majority would consider animal torture as black and white.

If nothing is black and white and context matters, could you please provide your take on when female genital mutilation is sometimes okay? Or when rape or pedophilia are okay in certain circumstances?
