the first date i took my wife on, we went to a show. a friend of ours was playing an intimate, private show at a little art studio nearby and he had room for two more, so we got an amazing first date. toward the end, he knew my favorite band at the moment and asked me if I wanted to join him in singing THE ONE SONG OF THEIRS I CAN NEVER TO THIS DAY REMEMBER THE LYRICS i seriously think this might have given me a mental block around this song. i can very occasionally see the future so i decided against turning into watermelon bob, let him sing it by himself.
