Really, I once was walking thru the streets and saw some posters writen “KIDNAPPED”. I thought “Israeli Propaganda”, but when I got close I saw pictures of children.
I cannot wish any harm to children, so I really got sad and sent good thoughts for them.
I would not invalidate the feelings of anyone in this situation, be it Israelis, Palestinians, Chinese, Russian, Ukrainian or whatever.
Unless the person starts to get very belligerent, I think I would just try to let the human being in my front to express it’s sorrow.
