Trump campaign said video using Nazi-era language was posted by staffer who didn’t see wording, yet it stayed up for 15 hours

    Damn if you do, damn if you don’t?

    Should the video had not been removed? I don’t know what the issue is? They removed a video that comes off as offensive, right? Isn’t that good moderating?

        It wasn’t… this thread has speculations of what really happened. All we know is that a user of Truth Social posted a video, it was reviewed - apparently not thoroughly watched, then it was allowed to be posted by an employee of Truth Social. Then after discovering the icky word, the posted video was removed.

        What if said user was actually anti-Trump and tried to damage the image of Trump and his voters? Not hard to believe. Or it could have been a straight up neo-nazi who thinks Trump is the messiah… Also not hard to believe.

        In the end it seems people got sand in between their legs and became hysterical.

      Of course it should be removed. I don’t think anyone sane is criticizing him for removing it. The criticism is still that it was ever posted in the first place. The excuse here is pretty weak. You need to be posting the kind of videos that would include such things in order to accidentally miss them.
