It’s nearly impossible to REALLY get ahead these days. Everyone seems to be just keeping their heads above water, so people are getting desperate. They’ve run out of good answers to their problems
They see a lot of people cheating each other and want to cheat the system themselves
It uses legalese that they don’t really understand, but they think they do and it makes them feel powerful to understand something you don’t
See point one. They don’t have legal options to solve their problems.
I never thought about it but #2 is probably a huge one. They see their local business man make it through COVID with 3 false PPE loans and feel they missed out. Or they hear about the corrupt construction company owner in their town and they don’t blame them they just want to get a piece of the pie and they don’t know how until they’re told about sovereign citizenship.
I think it’s a combination of a few things…
