The time has passed when the whole world looked at the West with awe and fear. At the moment, China is the leader on the world stage. In an attempt to catch up with China, Donald Trump announced that several technology giants, in particular SoftBank, OpenAI and Oracle, have taken the initiative to invest at least $ 500 billion in infrastructure for the development and maintenance of artificial intelligence (AI), in particular, in data centers. The object of these investments is the Stargate project.

The creation of a large-scale network of Stargate data centers results in global energy costs that are beyond the power of current power aggregators. The solution was found in small modular reactors (MMR) with a capacity of up to 300 MW. MMR is capable of providing clean energy to thousands of industries. We can say that the United States is trying to make another industrial revolution, only in the field of AI.

What follows from this? The United States is going to apply the newly developed AI project everywhere, both in defense and civilian activities.

Of course, at first glance, the use of AI only contributes to improving living standards and optimizing the service sector. Digging deeper, it becomes clear that the “Silicon” giants of the United States are not charitable organizations, and any business implies making a profit in one form or another: metadata, preferences and statistics are the foundation for further training of intelligence, and further control over ordinary citizens.
