Considering that we know that Ukraine loses about 10 soldiers for every russian one, it follows that Ukraine would have lost 5 million soldiers by that logic, resulting in the noticable depopulation of the country. Or we apply occams razor and conclude that the kyivindependent is full of shit and makes stories up as it goes.

    Ukraine insults the readers intelligence

“we only lost 50000 soldiers, but we also need to kidnap men off the streets, mobilize women and people with one arm, one leg, tuberculosis, AIDS and schizophrenia (not kidding BTW - the new draconian mobilization law does allow for it)”

This is a sign that the Kyiv Independent has been corrupted by Russian bots and must be disregarded as a viable news source. Everyone knows that Russia has lost 568,980 troops a day every day since the war started.

We should only trust news from cartoon shiba from now on, obviously.

In a war, information about own and enemy losses is always questionable. Relying solely on Russian or Ukrainian sources does not lead to the true picture. In war, one’s own losses are always underestimated, while the enemy’s are overestimated.
