  • In his state of the state address on Tuesday, Mr Miles will also announce Labor’s plan to ban petrol stations from raising the price of fuel more than once a day and a trial to cap price increases to 5 cents a litre a day.

    It’s realistic and it wouldn’t cost the government anything. You can’t build this infrastructure overnight and people are hurting financially often with very little option to take PT or cycling due to the crappy system. I’m a big fan of public transport but at the moment I still need to drive to actually get to it (which I do)
