The true revolution will happen in the periphery (eyes on West Africa at the moment), but if westerners can do a genuine Democratic Socialism, they can assist comrades at the periphery by directing resources inward instead of toward the military and such, and even where unsuccessful at that, they create internal strife which also inhibits the empire’s ability to operate in opposition to the more substantial revolutions.
The US will probably be the last place to actually get Workers’ control over the means of production, dragged to heel by the rest of the world who moved on a decade or two before.

Yeah, I’m not expecting this to lead to much personally and I definitely feel the turn off for Israel right to exist maneuvering, but I also feel like things have been oddly aggressive in comparison to the grace China is given for similar waffling about with words as realpolitik instead of moral compromise. Suddenly swathes of people are finding themselves Maoists that I either didn’t see before somehow or decided this was a step too far.

Politics is dirty as fuck, we can’t moralize EVERYTHING if we want to win. Get power, not by any means possible, but with some compromise, and then future generations will be able to reset the slate and improve on what we build for them. We are not “the good guys” there are no “good guys”. Fuck it, back to being an ancom “all states are exploitative, and must be abolished” if we are going to play that game. Then I don’t have to analyze anything and I can be mad that states exist every day.
It’s boring that a few of us can’t take the W, but also I suppose that if they aren’t US American, then it’s totally fair for them to let it rip.
