By Rian Johnson with Joseph-Gordon Levitt and Lukas Haas was very deliberately a throwback to good ol’ hard boiled detective noir. I thought it worked quite well. It has an excellent on-foot chase sequence, if nothing else.

I thought it worked quite well. It has an excellent on-foot chase sequence, if nothing else.
