GTA2 is still one of my favorites, in the series.
While I haven’t played 4/5, 2 is my favourite. I still re-play 2 every few years.
2, and to a lesser extent the first one, had a more darker and gritty tone. I would argue there is even a (mild) cyberpunk vibe to the game.
Agreed about 2 having a cyberpunk feel. The first felt more like the 90s to me.
I remember installing this on my school’s network in 2000 and playing multiplayer in the computer lab.
