    I start my scripts directly with the startup utility. By using a command like bash ~/.hiddenScript.sh or use a cronjob

      Nope, as I’ve written: Even the .desktop file works when double-clicked. It just won’t autostart.

    • It works! Says the Dev (they mean in a narrow frame of use cases that only exist during development)
    • It works! Says the end-user (it works when they figure out the one pathway the Dev intended for the app to be used in)
