If he gets caught, he should slow roll the trial as looooooong as he can…

… And run for President in 2028 🇺🇸

Felonies and civility don’t matter anymore… clearly. He has a platfom I’d like to hear more of.

Seems to have a face that would look good on a campaign poster.

  • Agreed. This happened because both parties are bought and paid for by big corpo. Our vote is only on how to address some of the social issue symptoms, if at all, of our crony capitalist economy, and only if they don’t meaningfully effect corpo profits.

Example “please leftwing Obama, save us from this for profit healthcare hell!” proceeds to further enshrine for profit insurer leeches in a plan made from the heritage foundation because big corpo demand line go up.

The people don’t get a vote on the crony capitalist economy.

When we wish to protest, we’re now sent to designated protest zones out of the eyelines and profit operations of those we protest, making such “protests” as effective as masturbation in creating change.

This is happening because they have made us this desperate, and taken away/castrated our non-violent options. Some are apparently finally realizing that our votes and our protest have been manipulated by the capitalists that know they’re doing us harm into still technically existing, but no longer mattering.

Gotta hand it to them, it’s far more insidious than overt slavery with chains.

  • Also there’s a “love” that’s prevalent among the affluent that isn’t love at all.

Where children are seen more as and expected to fill the role as familial assets of the patriarch, more an extension of the parent’s legacy. No appreciation for the kids themselves as individuals, but attempted clones of the parents, and met with disdain when they fail to fill that mold as a failed investment.

The Trumps and Murdochs come to mind, and among extreme wealth, thats the rule not the exception.

It’s not contempt at the outset or disinterest, they see their children as assets, no different than stock or capital, to play to increase the reach of THEIR leverage, even after they’re dead.

As a parent, I have a great deal of contempt for parents that expect their kids to further their own interests or expect/demand they become little clones of them.

Kids don’t owe you shit, you owe them.

  • I’d argue the allowance of passive shareholders is what causes the biggest problems. Shares of profits should go to active employees only, unless they’ve fulfilled the requirements of a pension, not entities that intend to collect capital while contributing no labor towards the products/services generating the profit.

Passive income should only be hard earned. The only passive income that should be legal should be after 20+ of laboring/supporting the means by which those profits were generated, so it cannot be gamed.

Not some random asshole leeches who don’t want to work showing up with chips from their last trip to the exploitation, insider info casino, demanding any, let alone all profit. People have to earn a living, it’s perfectly reasonable to DEMAND skin in the game in order to make money.

boo hoo, the guy that set policies that killed their own customers when they became inconvenient to their bottom line, solely to increase their private profit, had 2 kids. Those kids will still go to fancy private schools and be materially fine, arguably with one less antisocial influence.

How many parents of kids without such blood soaked trust funds did he kill with United Healthcare’s policies designed to deny necessary care solely to boost private profits?

    https://www.propublica.org/article/evicore-health-insurance-denials-cigna-unitedhealthcare-aetna-prior-authorizations

We don’t even get to vote on this being allowed, the last President that promised to fix this system instituted a plan that instead of removing the profit motive from Healthcare doubled down and further enshrined for profit insurer middlemen predators like United Healthcare.

I know people like you. People that believe if we just play by the rules, protest in designated protest zones pathetically outside the eyeline and profit operations of those being protested, vote for either of our bought and paid for parties that defend this economy from the society it perversely controls, then a just world will just emerge. It won’t. Not unless we fight for it. And I’m not using fight as a metaphor, because those that seek power over the masses never surrender their power by anything but force or the real threat thereof.

But maybe we should just exercise more temperance as you say, let them completely destroy Earth’s climate for humans first while we ask them really nicely not to. Wow.

Oh, also, bye. Maybe reddit would be a good fit for you.

I think the road from hatred to empathy is far shorter than the road from cold sociopathy to empathy.

At least with hatred, the person lifts their head to see you when they hurt you, they’re passionate about your existence, just in the wrong way. The capitalist presses a button and yawns hurting people in volume, the victims never given a passing thought.

The rich don’t care about the poor.

They don’t see the poor as human enough to hate.

They live in separate bubbles, go to different schools, live in guard gated places, vacation at places only they can afford. By design, the wealthy are segregated from us, and are taught not to empathize with their livestock.

That’s all anyone outside their class are to them, livestock. Management livestock, laborer livestock, homeless (capitalist scarecrows) livestock. Just levels of livestock.

Honestly I think the sociopathy of market capitalism makes it worse, yes worse, than crimes of hatred.

At least someone who hurts or kills you for who you are cares enough about your existence enough to want to hurt you and revel in your pain.

A wealthy capitalist will feed a thousand children lead or deny a thousand claims for necessary surgeries(topical!), and pay the fine if there’s one at all without so much as a glance at your name. A nameless speed bump on the road to GLORIOUS PROFIT!

It’s just business after all 🤑

  • I don’t either. I’m an atheist, though I was raised “Christian,” and most self professed Christians aren’t Christians, they’re “Christians.”

It’s not about a No True Scotsman fallacy. They have a book. A rule book. A value book. A book that declares it supercedes the previous book on how to live your life if you want to be part of the Trinity’s flock.

I see no mass movement of any self-identified Christian denomination that rejects the teachings of that book directly in favor of another book or source, yet very few identified American “Christians” even seem to attempt to follow those teachings, and it’s not about trying but falling short of them, most of them seem to revel in living the opposite of those teachings all of the time.
