Another quick way would probably be dropping the workaround link for MWoG around on their instance https://lemmy.world/c/[email protected] or the recap post link https://lemmy.world/post/29072279
@[email protected] had a neat post template to encourage others to boycott the .ml instance and pointing them to the relevant non.ml comm alternative and was posting it to all the .ml comms they’d been subscribed to. He was perma-site banned within the day for that one LMAO

That’s a bold assumption with this administration lol
Tomorrow’s headline: “In move to lower price of eggs, Trump administration has decided to ban eggs”
Is…is it bad that I understood the whole thing on the first go?

Yea, our engineered stuff might be simplistic compared to the brain and biology, but evolution is just a combination of luck, randomness and “unguided” trial and error. There’s no “thought” to evolution and that’s why we end up with all these…weird quirks and flaws LMAO

“NK is actually good and anything counter to that is Western propaganda!” ~dessalines, .ml admin, dev https://lemmy.world/post/31595035

“If you don’t support Russia then you just don’t understand geopolitics” ~dessalines, .ml admin, dev https://lemmy.world/post/27352415
And a long list of bans/censorship and allowing the proliferation of known propaganda and misinformation outlets clearly demonstrating use of their instance and recognition to force a political narrative
LMAO me trying to post a Linux article in [email protected] is always a 50/50 on if you got to it first 😂
Not really, all OC content gets proper attribution or shows in the crosspost links section/menu. If I missed one, lmk, I am after all human and mistakes happen
Context:
Why am I cross-posting .ml?
I cross-post from .ml to the nearest relevant non-.ml comm to reduce the influence of .ml comms and indirectly, the instance as a whole, to make it an easier decision for other instance admins to defederate because one key reason I identified that admins don’t want to defederate is because .ml still has some very large comms and some niche comms.

And so so much documentation on clear heavy handed censorship and bias also on the link. So much I can’t even put them all here because this comment would be really long.
I believe the behavior of its admins (the main admins are Lemmy devs) does harm to the overall growth of the Lemmy-verse and maybe even the Thrediverse (since Lemmy kinda kicked off the Thrediverse) because of its association with the devs of Lemmy and their insistence to use .ml as their personal political platform to spread harmful propaganda
On the outside, bringing up Lemmy frequently leads to comments like “Lemmy? Isn’t that the place with a bunch of tankies?” Or “Tried Lemmy, but found it full of pro Russia crap so I left”. The best way forward from that I see is to either widely defederate from .ml like the rest of the Triad, or pressure them to put a fair and unbiased as possible admin team.
Every keyless vehicle I’ve driven has had a failsafe, usually something along the lines of starting the car by pushing the start button with the top of the FOB and it’ll temporarily be powered enough to read whatever security codes it needs
Some brands have a hidden manual key inside the FOB that you could use
Lol, I’ve been wanting to tear down my old laptops down to the board and run them “bare” in my rack as some sort of cluster lmao
